This three-song cycle explores the emotional journey through love and acceptance. The first song “Iris & Roses” asks where one’s love may truly reside, while the second in the set “Unspoken” confronts the complexities one faces when loving another. “The Color of Morning” reflects on one’s past in order to arrive to a point of joy. This cycle was premiered in 2023 in recital with OperaDelaware and Opera Baltimore.
